Dr. Brad Burke, or “Dr. Brad” as he is often called, is a young Christian medical specialist who took a five year sabbatical from practicing medicine to research and write the compelling book series, An MD Examines. The first four books in this series were published simultaneously by Cook Communications in July 2006.

Where many Christian authors merely toss out facts about God like giant Frisbees, Dr. Brad demonstrates how we can better organize these facts – the pieces in our “God-Mosaics” – to develop a more intimate understanding of our Creator and Lord.

An MD Examines is a fascinating series geared for the 21st century Christian that explores the character of God through a medical doctor’s eyes. Brad has been interviewed by such individuals as Kim Jeffries KTIS Life FM, Bob Dutko on the Bob Dutko Show, Janet Parshall on her nationally syndicated show, “America,” and Kurt Goff on the SOS Radio Network. He has also been a guest on such TV shows as 100 Huntley Street, Nite Lite “Live,” and Listen Up TV.

Undoubtedly, Dr. Brad’s greatest “qualification” for writing these books originated from his many years of memorization and meditation on the Bible beginning at the age of three. The insights he has gleaned from this process have been passed through the crucible of 80-115 hour workweeks on a trauma team in a prestigious Los Angeles hospital. As a layperson, Brad can relate well to the average individual and more easily address questions with down-to-earth answers that make sense. As a medical doctor, Dr. Brad can speak with authority and insight on the tough questions surrounding suffering and miracles of healing.

In addition to his books, Brad has preached many sermons, logged hundreds of hours researching and writing three full-length film screenplays, and has had his articles published in such publications as Focus on the Family’s Physician magazine and Light & Life.

Brad currently lives with his wife Erin and daughter Karis in Michigan but he still practices medicine in Windsor, Ontario as a Canadian and American Board Certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist (physiatrist). When Brad and Erin are not working in the hospital, they enjoy downhill skiing, waterskiing, 4-wheeling, rollerblading, snorkeling, volleyball, tennis, working out in the gym, and hanging out with family and friends.
